A man scuffled with a police officer after being thrown out of a bar, a court has been told.
Jamie Cathie, unemployed, 24, of Warbreck Hill Road, North Shore, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly before magistrates.
Don Green, prosecuting, said Cathie swore at doorstaff after being thrown out of the Walkabout bar, in Queen Street, Blackpool.
Cathie then shouted at a police officer and was arrested.
Ashley Fisher, defending, said Cathie accepted he should have done what the police officer advised and walked away from the scene.
He was given an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs plus £15 victims’ surcharge by Blackpool magistrates.
