A man has made his first appearance at court accused of 12 serious sex assaults on a 15-year-old girl at St Annes.
Samuel Billington, aged 25, of Orchard Road, St Annes, is alleged to have committed the offences between April and August last year.
Prosecutor, Paul Foster, said the case must be heard at crown court.
Defence lawyer, Peter Cave, did not indicate pleas to the offences on Billington’s behalf at this stage.
Billington was bailed to appear at Preston Crown Court on March 13 by Blackpool magistrates.
He must not contact any child under 16 or approach within 100 metres of any school as conditions of his bail.
