A man has made his first court appearance charged with being involved in the sexual exploitation of children.
Andrew Steven Gregson was the second person to stand in the dock this week as a result of a special police investigation in Blackpool.
Gregson, 34, of Springfield Road,Blackpool faces six allegations of engaging in sexual activity with young boys.
The offences are alleged to have taken place between June and November last year.
Blackpool Magistrates sent Gregson for trial at Preston Crown Court.
He was remanded in custody and will appear at the higher court on February 27 for a preliminary hearing before the court.
His lawyer Kathryn Jameson-Sinclair said Gregson “vehemently denied “ the offences.
On Monday Talesian Lawson, 45, who gave an an address of Fairhaven Street,Manchester, and who formerly lived in Blackpool was also remanded in custody by the resort’s magistrates.
Lawson faces four allegations of having illegal sex with boys and two of attempting to incite a child for sex.
