A man charged with secretly filming up women’s skirts in Blackpool has made his first appearance at court.
Paul Curran, 53, of Captains Lane, Bootle, near Liverpool, faces two offences of outraging public decency by walking around the town centre, Promenade and arcades covertly filming up females’ skirts.
Curran is alleged to have used a camcorder concealed in a plastic carrier bag with a hole cut in it, on July 13 and 20 last year.
Curran was bailed by Blackpool magistrates for his lawyer to get extra evidence.
As conditions of his bail, he must not enter Lancashire except for court appearances or appointments with his lawyer, and not possess any photographic equipment in a public place.
