Detectives have charged a man in connection with a murder investigation in Blackpool.
Daniel Sobisz, 34, of no fixed address, was arrested in Leicester on Thursday, January 21 following a joint operation by Lancashire and Leicestershire police forces.
He was questioned over the weekend and was charged with the murder of Marcin Pawlow on Saturday evening. He is due to appear before Blackpool Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Monday, January 25).
At around 1am on Wednesday, December 23, Mr Pawlow, 30, from Poland, was found outside an address on Central Drive with stab wounds to his hip, leg and shoulder.
He later died at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
Six men, aged 52, 32, 45, 31, 33 and 34, all from Blackpool, were arrested on suspicion of murder and later released.
