A man kicked and broke the glass door of a Poulton pub after a night out drinking.
Steven Haffadh, 28, of Castle Avenue, Poulton, pleaded guilty to causing damage.
He was given a 12 months conditional discharge and ordered to pay £250 compensation with £85 costs plus £15 victims’ surcharge by Blackpool magistrates.
Pam Smith, prosecuting, said CCTV showed the defendant kicking the front door of the Grapevine pub.
When showed the footage, Haffadh said: “ I can’t believe I behaved like that.”
He was given a caution by police on the condition he paid the £250 compensation, but he did not pay.
Steven Townley, defending, said: “He had had too much to drink. There was an argument with someone and he kicked out at the door as he went past.”
