A man breached his bail only hours after being given it, when police spotted him walking on Blackpool Promenade with his girlfriend.
Steven Brown, 34, of Preston New Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to breaking conditions of his bail.
District Judge James Hatton, at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court, agreed to rebail him with an additional condition he should not enter Blackpool except for court appearances and legal appointments.
Alison Quanbrough, prosecuting, said that Brown was bailed by police on Saturday, on condition he lived and slept at his address and did not contact his girlfriend or enter Tudor Place, South Shore. The next day, at 7.15pm, Brown was seen walking on the Prom with the girlfriend.
Brett Chappell, defending, said Connell, who had a heroin problem, returned to Blackpool to get a heroin-blocking drug and was approached by his girlfriend.
