A man has been banned from driving for four years after he was caught almost three times over the limit.
It was the second drink drive offence committed by Paul Lucas, of Ryson Avenue, Blackpool, the town’s magistrates were told.
They imposed the ban and after being told that Lucas had alcohol issues ordered him to go on the drink impaired drivers course.
He must also pay £145 in court costs and victims’ surcharge.
Tracy Yates,prosecuting, said that Lucas had been seen driving erratically.
Brett Chappell, defending, said: ”Help has ben offered to Mr Lucas with is problems which he welcomes with open arms.”
