A man has been charged in connection with an incident in Lytham when two boys were allegedly threatened with a crowbar.

David Sturdy, 54, of Green Hey, Lytham, has been charged with using threatening behaviour and possessing an offensive weapon.

He has been bailed to appear at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court on November 6.

Officers were called to Ballam Road around 7.20pm on Tuesday after reports of threatening behaviour by a man in Green Drive.
