A man shouted an insult at police officers he called to resolve a dispute between him and his flatmate.
Shane Nuttall, 34, of Grosvenor Street, Blackpool, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly.
He was fined £50 with £85 costs and ordered to pay £20 victims’ surcharge by Blackpool magistrates.
Martine Connah, prosecuting, said Nuttall called police to his address on March 29 at 7pm saying he had problems with a flatmate.
When officers arrived, Nuttall swore at them and insulted them. He continued being abusive and was arrested.
Nuttall denied calling the officers Piggies. He said an officer came out from seeing his flatmate and slammed him into a police van. He added: “Since my mum passed away I have started to lose it a bit.”
