Man, 31, held after woman is hurt in Blackpool
A 31-year-old man was arrested after police were called to Palatine Road in central Blackpool earlier this afternoon.
He was held on suspicion of assault and criminal damage after officers arrived shortly before 2.25pm to find an injured woman, a spokeswoman for Lancashire Police said.
Two police vans, two cars, and an ambulance were spotted at the scene, while an eyewitness said officers were quizzing a man aged '30 to 40' in the street.
The woman's injuries were believed to be minor, the police spokeswoman said.
