A teenager who set fire to a children’s charity has been jailed for more than five years.
Cairn Major will spend five-and-a-half years behind bars for starting the blaze at Donna’s Dream House om December 2011. Once he is released he will be on licence for a further three years.
Major, 19, of Tyldesley Road, South Shore, was sentenced at Preston Crown Court on Monday.
He admitted setting fire to an office at Donna’s Dream House, on Chapel Street, Blackpool, before stealing a TV set and camera from the premises at an earlier hearing.
The fire caused around £110,000 of damage to the property.
