A vicious assault left a man with a fractured skull and a bleed on the brain.

Police are hunting the thug who launched a horrific unprovoked attack on three men during a night out in Blackpool.

Officers have released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to in connection with the attack on a 26-year-old man.

Mr Reeves was out with friends at the Flagship bar, in New Bonny Street, when the incident took place, at around 8.30pm on August 17.

The attacker was thrown out by door staff but later targeted his victim and two friends as they left the bar.

He head-butted another one of his victims, also a 26-year-old man, and punched the third man, 32, in the face when he tried to intervene.

Both were treated at Blackpool Victoria Hospital for suspected broken noses, while the first man was later transferred to Royal Preston Hospital.

Det Con Alan Quanbrough said he was horrified by the attacks and was keen to bring the man responsible to justice.

He said: “It was a horrendous assault that could have been life-threatening but fortunately wasn’t.”

Det Con Quanbrough added: “We have a really clear CCTV image of a man we are keen to speak to in connection with these assaults and I am more than certain someone will recognise him.”
