Police found ‘his and hers’ drugs when they raided a couple’s home.

Michael Brewer told officers he kept heroin hidden in the bedroom window frame and his girlfriend Laura Davies pointed out to police she had concealed amphetamine in the fridge-freezer.

Brewer, 36, and Davies, 29, both of Cunliffe Road, Blackpool, both pleaded guilty to illegally possessing drugs.

Brewer was sentenced to 12 months’ supervision with nine months’ drug rehabilitation and Davies to nine months’ supervision with six months drug rehabilitation. They were each fined £150 and ordered to pay £50 costs with £60 victims’ surcharge by Blackpool magistrates.

Brewer told police that his girlfriend used amphetamine because she had a weight problem.
