Police are appealing for help to identify two shoplifters caught on camera.

These two men were caught on CCTV stealing products from two different Blackpool supermarkets.

The first man seen in a Russell athletic hoodie entered the Co-op on Central Drive and helped himself to packets of both chilled and frozen meat.

The second man seen here in a black woollen hat and a grey Adidas coat was caught on CCTV stealing in the Co-op on Harrowside in South Shore.

Police said the man entered the store posing as a potential customer before filling the bag he was carrying with various chilled meat items and leaving.

Both thefts took place on September 30.

Police are now appealing to The Gazette’s readers for help.

Det Con Steven Lucas, of Blackpool CID, said: “These images are relatively clear so I am confident someone somewhere will be able to identify them.”

Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting AM1305239 for the man in the Russell athletic hoodie and AM1305267 for the man in the woollen hat.
