Grange Park manhunt after man badly hurt in vicious attack
A major manhunt was launched in Grange Park on Saturday after a 36-year-old man was attacked and badly injured.
The police helicopter was called out and officers were seen searching gardens around Furness Avenue after the man was seriously assaulted at an address in Witnell Road at around 8.30am, a Lancashire Police spokeswoman said.
He was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital where he remains in a serious condition, suffering from head and facial injuries.
Jonathon Johnstone, 22, of Bowland Crescent, Blackpool, was arrested and later charged with GBH.
Police are continuing to hunt for a second offender, the spokeswoman added.
