A woman accused of throwing a glass at a man in a pub which cut his face has made her first appearance at court.

Jessica Bonney, 21, of Branstree Road, Mereside, faces an offence of assault causing actual bodily harm.

Paul Foster, prosecuting, asked for the case to be heard at crown court.

Paul Robinson, defending, said his client would not indicate a plea at this stage.

Bonney was bailed to appear at Preston Crown Court on July 25 by Blackpool magistrates.
