A teenage girl has gone missing from home, police said.

Kelsea Steele, 15, has not been seen since 8.15am yesterday, sparking a public appeal for help finding her this morning.

A spokesman for Blackpool Police said the youngster took 'a couple of bags with clothes in' with her, and may have been wearing black shoes.

The bags may have contained Reebok 'metallic' trainers, jeans, crop tops, and a black fur coat, the spokesman added.

Kelsea was described as white, of medium build, and with green eyes. She had straight, shoulder-length brown hair.

Anybody with information on her whereabouts has been urged to call police on 101, quoting log number LC-2017-02-17-0312
