Firefighters tackle skip blaze in Blackpool alley

A "well alight" skip located in an alley was extinguished by firefighters in Blackpool.

Firefighters from South Shore were called to a skip fire on Withnell Road at around 1.43pm today (April 28).

When fire crews arrived, they discovered a "well alight" skip in an alley.

The fire was extinguished using a hose reel.

Firefighters battled the blaze for almost half an hour.
