A MAN hit his partner on the forehead and grabbed her hair while she had their baby in her arms.

Frank Worrell then lunged at his partner the next day and headbutted her.

Worrell, 41, of Curzon Road, St Annes, pleaded guilty to two assaults and damaging his girlfriend’s phone.

He was bailed for pre-sentence reports by Blackpool magistrates.

Tracy Yates, prosecuting, said the couple had a heated row on February 4. She had the baby in her arms and he hit her forehead hard with his palm. On February 5 Worrell headbutted her then grabbed her by the ear and dragged her to the floor.

Worrell then went up the stairs with two knives shouting for the two older children to get up, before stabbing a knife into a chest of drawers.

Gerry Coyle, defending, said they argued because she accused him of spending too much time with his brother and brother’s children.

He was ashamed of his behaviour.
