A FATHER and two sons have made their first appearance at court accused of offences involving a cannabis factory in St Annes.
The alleged factory in a house on Laverton Road was said to have contained cannabis with a potential street value of £8,000, Blackpool magistrates were told.
Joseph McSpirit, 55, of Laverton Road, St Annes, is charged with permitting the production of cannabis at his home on September 8 this year.
Sons, 22-year-old Joshua McSpirit, and Deklan McSpirit, 19, both of Laverton Road, are accused of producing cannabis and possessing the drug with intent to supply it.
They are also charged with money laundering £1,222 in cash from the sale of drugs.
Paul Foster, prosecuting, asked for the case to be heard at crown court.
The three defendants were bailed to appear at Preston Crown Court on March 21.
