A couple were arrested for their drunken behaviour outside a Lytham bar.
Colin Diggle, 48, told the police officers: “I would wipe the floor with you if I wasn’t in handcuffs.”
His partner, 51-year-old Janet Courtney who lives with Diggle on East Cliffe, Lytham, was said to have slurred speech and was unsteady on her feet.
She told police officers they were a “bunch of bullies”, Blackpool Magistrates were told.
Courtney admitted breaching the peace on Henry Street, Lytham, and was bound over to keep the peace for a year in the sum of £100.
Diggle, who said he worked as a flooring specialist, admitted being drunk and disorderly.
He was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £150 court costs and £15 victim’s surcharge.
