A man went to protest against social club members knocking on a girl’s window as they left and caused a fracas outside the venue.
John Depp then refused to move when requested to by police at The Locomotive Club and ended up under arrest after asking officers to lock him up.
Depp, 40, of Ribble Road, South Shore, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly.
He was fined £35 with £40 costs and ordered to pay £20 victims’ surcharge by Blackpool magistrates.
Robert Castle, defending, said Depp, who had bi-polar disorder, had been to visit friends who lived near the club.
The family was very upset and told Depp people leaving the club had ben banging on their daughter’s window, distressing her.
Depp went over to the club to remonstrate with club members who were leaving.
