POLICE hunting for a sex pest have released a picture of a man they would like to speak to.

The incident happened when a woman was walking her dog on Mayfield Road, St Annes.

As the 59-year-old walked over to a car she noticed the man had his trousers pulled down exposing himself.

The man then sped off as the victim reached for her mobile phone.

The flasher was described as being ‘respectable looking’, white, middle aged man with a round face and a fair complexion.

He was wearing a dark coloured beanie hat and a dark coloured jumper and had no visible tattoos or scars.

The man was driving a small silver coloured VW hatchback, possibly a Polo or Golf, with a registration ending OED or OAD.

The incident happened on December 1, sometime between 3.45pm and 4pm.

PC Darren Coathup, of St Annes Police, today appealed for witnesses.

He said: “I would ask anybody who thinks they may recognise the man in the Evofit picture to contact police. This was very distressing for the woman involved and if you have any information which may lead us to identify this man contact police by calling us on 101.”
