A FATHER caused a hole in a wall when his former girlfriend refused to let him in to see his son.
Paul Blackham, 20, of Coronation Street, Blackpool, admitted causing damage.
He was put on a three-month tagged curfew from 8pm to 7am and ordered to pay £100 compensation by Blackpool magistrates.
Tracy Yates, prosecuting, said Blackham went round to his ex’s home at 6pm on February 3.
His former girlfriend was annoyed because he kept turning up unannounced and she would not let him in.
Blackham screamed and shouted and his ex heard loud banging.
When she looked out she saw a hole in the plasterboard in the hallway wall.
Stephen Duffy, defending, said Blackham had been promised contact with his son, but when he went round he was told he could not see him.
His ex’s new boyfriend was at the property.
Blackham said he kicked the door and bounced back, damaging the wall.
