POLICE want to speak to this man after a reveller was violently attacked in a Promenade club.

The 22-year-old victim was on a night out at Sanuk nightclub was punched in the face, knocking him out and leaving him with three broken teeth and a broken jaw.

His vicious attacker fled the club immediately after the shocking incident and police are now appealing for the public’s help to find him.

PC Emma Halliwell, who is investigating the assault for Blackpool Police, said: “This was a very nasty, seemingly unprovoked assault and I am very keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed what happened.

“If anyone was around the area at the time and saw something but has not yet spoken to us, I would ask them to come forward.

“Similarly, if anyone recognises the man in the CCTV, I would ask them to contact us as soon as possible.”

The incident took place at around 1.30am on June 9 but police are only now releasing the details of the vicious assault.

And despite the length of time which has passed since the attack, they hope somebody may remember something from the night which could help with the investigation.

The man they want to speak was wearing a black top and beige trousers.

He was heavy build with a shaved head and tattoos on his arms.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Blackpool Police on new non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
