POLICE want to speak to this man after a “Good Samaritan” was attacked trying to break up a fight.

The victim was punched to the mouth, causing “significant injuries”, after spotting the fight outside Flames Takeaway, on The Strand, Blackpool.

PC Barron Moseley, who is investigating the incident, said: “(He was) struck to the face with a single punch causing significant injuries to his mouth.

“The end result has been the loss of a tooth, 30 plus stitches and surgery to his lip which will ultimately leave a scar.”

The fight broke out at around 3am and Sunday, November 18, and the incident was captured on CCTV, which police have now released.

And they want the man pictured – or anyone who knows him – to come forward.

PC Moseley added: “There were a number of bystanders shown on the CCTV who may know who the male is.”
