CCTV appeal after thug snatches OAP's handbag on the Prom

An elderly woman had her handbag snatched close to the Strand Hotel, on the Promenade at North Shore, police said.

It happened at around 12.50pm last Tuesday, April 18, and the thief was last seen running off towards Dickson Road.
