POLICE have released this image of a man they want to speak to after a terrifying robbery at a Poulton bank.

It is believed the robber – who escaped Poulton’s NatWest bank with a bag of cash after threatening the cashier – fled the Market Place on a bicycle following Wednesday’s robbery.

The robber entered the bank between 3.50pm and 4pm and ordered the cashier to hand over cash, threatening her that he had gun – although no-one saw a weapon. He was wearing a black jacket, bicycle helmet and sunglasses, and was carrying what is believed to be a beige Next bag.

Police are now appealing for information about a cyclist seen in the Elm Avenue area of Poulton between 3.50pm and 4pm on Wednesday, or drivers may have spotted him on Hardhorn Road or Garstang Road.

Anyone with information should contact Fleetwood CID on 101.
