Police are appealing for information after £85 of whisky was taken from a shop in Poulton.

Officers have released this CCTV image of a woman they wish to speak to in relation to the theft from Booths, on Ball Street in the market town.

The incident happened at around 5.30pm on Mach 11.

Police have said it is thought the woman entered the shop, put four bottles of whisky worth around £85 into a bag brought with her into the store, and left without paying.

PC Simon Munton, of Fleetwood Police, said: “We are keen to trace the woman in the CCTV image and would ask anyone with information to contact us on 101.”

The woman is described as white, around 5ft7 tall, of a medium build, thought to be in her late 30s.
