Scene of crime tests showed a man’s fingerprints in a car which had been broken into.
Phillip Jones, 22, of Devonshire Road, Blackpool, pleaded guilty to theft and two offences of failing to answer bail.
He was bailed for pre-sentence reports with all options including custody to be considered by Blackpool magistrates.
Andrea Fawcett, prosecuting, said a woman had her car, which was parked at The Sandcastle, broken into on September 24.
A mobile phone was among £798 of property stolen from it.
Forensic tests showed Jones’s fingerprints on the car.
Peter Manning, defending, said Jones admitted taking a £500 phone from the vehicle.
He sold it, keeping £40 for himself and giving £20 to a young man with him.
