A CANNABIS farm was found during a police raid on a Warton house.
Police found 20 plants, with a street value of £1,000, at a house on Lytham Road on Wednesday after members of the public reported a strong smell of cannabis in the area.
PC Robin Hardiman, community beat manager for Warton, said: “Inside the house we found a room full of cannabis plants, which had been cultivated and harvested.
“We got there at the right time as all the cannabis leaves had been bagged up in a large sack.
“By acting quickly, we were able to intercept it before it could all be divided up and sold to the public of Warton and Freckleton.”
A 43-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
