LAPTOP computers were stolen after thieves targeted offices on Blackpool Business Park.

Raiders broke into one two-storey property on Avroe Crescent overnight on Monday, after workers had left for the day.

And police are now trying to identify two men who forced their way into The Gazette offices, also on Avroe Crescent, earlier that evening.

The men opened a side door at Avroe House just after 6pm but were challenged by a security guard.

It is believed the same men who entered The Gazette also attempted to force the magnetic doors at Voiteq, on Neptune Court at Whitehills Business Park shortly afterwards.

PC Rob Wood, of St Annes Police, said: “We don’t know if the two incidents on Avroe Crescent are connected but want to try to find the two men who entered The Gazette building.”
