A businessman breached his bail when he took a new car round to his estranged wife’s home and shared a bottle of champagne with her.

Aaron Bland, a 32-year-old managing director of a plumbing company, of Broadhurst Road, Cleveleys, admitted failing to comply with bail conditions.

He was rebailed by Blackpool Magistrates Court.

Martine Connah, prosecuting, said Bland had been bailed by the police on the conditions he did not contact his estranged wife or go to her home in Swift Close without being accompanied by a police officer.

But on May 28 at 10.10pm police received a tip-off Bland was at his wife’s home.

After being arrested he said: “I’ll see my kids tomorrow like I did before and my wife.”

Daniel Harman, defending, said the couple had three children together and they had been in contact with each other by text and was invited round by her.
