These are the horrifying injuries a barman was left with after he was attacked by two men who had been refused entry into a Blackpool club.
The worker from Flamingos Nightclub, Queen Street, was set upon by two men just moments after door staff attempted to move of the attackers away from the venue.
The 39-year-old victim was knocked unconscious in the attack and suffered a fractured left eye socket and severe bruises and swelling after the incident on August 22.
Now police, who only released the information yesterday, are calling for witnesses to come forward.
Det Con Gary Scales from Blackpool CID said: “The victim has been left understandably shaken and was visibly injured by this assault so I am keen to find those responsible.”
The incident happened at around 3.30am after two men who had exited Flamingos became aggressive and abusive with staff after being refused re-entry to the club.
As one of the men was escorted away from the premises the pair continued to be physically aggressive, attacking the barman and knocking him unconscious.
Det Con Scales added: “I am asking anyone who recognises the two men pictured, or witnessed the incident taking place to come forward and speak to us.”
