A Blackpool man who received a jail term after he admitted killing his own brother in law has appeared in court again.
Christopher Howard, 34, was jailed for five years three months at Preston Crown Court after he admitted manslaughter.
He fatally stabbed David Wilson with a kitchen knife.
Blackpool Magistrates heard how Howard has been seen bare chested in the street outside his home on Windsor Avenue, Blackpool carrying a kitchen knife.
He had been locked out of his home by his partner following a domestic dispute, said Andrea Fawcett, prosecuting.
Police were called by anxious neighbours and Howard was arrested for causing a breach of the peace which he admitted in court.
The prosecutor said: “The officers at the scene accepted his explanation and how he may have been seen with a knife in the road but he had posted it back through his letter box.”
He was bound over to keep the peace for 12 months in the sum of £100.
