Arsonist torches animal pen in Poulton
An animal pen was deliberately set alight in Poulton earlier this afternoon.
No animals were in the outbuilding, in Holts Lane, at the time, and investigators have now been brought in to catch the arsonist responsible.
A spokesman for the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) said two fire engines and crews, from Blackpool and Bispham, responded to a 999 call made at 4.03pm.
Firefighters wearing breathing masks used a hosereel jet to put out the flames.
Police are helping with the investigation.
