Blackpool Magistrates' Court

A man accused of being involved in an armed robbery at St Annes, in which a man was menaced with a machete, a hammer and a knife in his own home, has appeared in court.

Samuel Madine, 25, of Stamford Avenue, South Shore, is charged with robbing a man of his wallet, watch and a bluetooth speaker at an address in Park Road on May 10.

Defence lawyer, Trevor Colebourne, did not ask for bail for his client, and added that his client had indicated he would plead not guilty to the offence.

Madine was remanded in custody to appear at Preston Crown Court on June 4 by Blackpool magistrates.
