Police are appealing for a driver to come forward after a man was hit by a car in Poulton.
The 27-year-old man was walking down Bispham Road towards the town when he was clipped by a car.
It is believed the car was a dark-coloured Ford Ka. It happened as the man walked down a narrow stretch without a footpath at around 10am on Monday.
Both the car and the pedestrian were travelling in the same direction, and officers believe it is possible the driver is unaware he was involved in a collision.
The victim was checked over by paramedics and found to have no injuries.
But police are still appealing for the car’s driver to come forward.
PC Dave Simmons said: “I’d appeal to anybody that witnessed this collision or with any information about the car involved to come forward and contact Lancashire Police.
“It is highly likely that the driver of the Ka was completely unaware of the incident but I would appeal to anybody that was driving a dark blue Ford Ka down Bispham Road this morning and therefore thinks they could have been involved to contact police so we can establish the circumstances of exactly what has happened.”
Anyone who has any information about the car and its driver or witnessed the collision is asked to contact police on 101.
