Detectives are appealing for information after a man was seriously assaulted in a disturbance on a street in Blackpool.

Around 1am on Saturday, March 22, there was a fight involving several men and women on Milbourne Street.

A 21-year-old man suffered a broken jaw and a broken finger, as well as having some of his teeth knocked out.

A 24-year-old man was also injured in the fight, although he suffered more minor injuries including bruising.

Det Con Marc Armstrong, of Lancashire Police, said: “We believe there were a number of potential witnesses to this incident who we are yet to speak to and I would urge them to come forward.

“It was a busy Saturday night.

“I would appeal to anyone who saw this fight, or has any information about the people, to contact police.”
