Alleyway man still ‘critical’

A MAN remains in a critical condition in hospital after being found unconscious in a town centre alleyway.

The 46-year-old was discovered with serious head injuries behind Regent Road at 10pm on Friday.

Police are appealing for witnesses as they try to establish how the man came to be hurt.

The man is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall, with short dark hair. He was wearing a black three-quarter jacket and beige top.
