Blackpool residents can have a piece of Stanley Park in their own gardens, as bulbs are now on sale to the public.
Tulips that have been on display during this spring will be available to buy in pink, white and yellow. Each bulb has been taken out of the main display, dried and trimmed, and is ready to be re-planted.
All they need is a bit of water and a bit of care. Visitors can pick them up from the Visitor Centre.
Elaine Smith, chairman of Friends of Stanley Park, said: “We are often asked by visitors to the town for souvenirs to take home with them – what better than tulips from a park so loved by everyone?”
The bulbs cost £1, which will go towards the future upkeep of Stanley Park.
