Action for last years open day at Penny Farm

Children’s entertainer and Britain’s Got Talent star Thomas Bounce will play host to this year’s open day at World Horse Welfare.

The open day will be held at the organisation’s Penny Farm site, off Preston New Road, Marton, which will also feature a medieval fair.

Zoe Clifford, visitor officer at Penny Farm, said: “We have a fun packed day with entertainment for all the family including Atkinson Action Horses who will amaze you with phenomenal stunt riding and a medieval show.“The local community have always been great supporters of our events and we hope that they will join us again this year.

“We are anticipating a greater need to rescue even more unwanted and mistreated ponies over the winter months so events like this are invaluable.”

Admission is £3 for adults and £1 for children under 16 – visitors should follow the signs for event parking when they arrive.
