Emotional tributes have been paid to a popular barber who “shone brightly in so many people’s lives.”

There was standing room only during Stephen Campbell’s funeral as hundreds of his family and friends packed into St Teresa’s church, Cleveleys, to say their final goodbyes.

The 38-year-old died from injuries he suffered in a jet ski incident in Thailand on March 19, and his death saw a huge outpouring of grief from the people who knew him best.

Pall-bearers wore Liverpool FC shirts to celebrate Mr Campbell’s fanatical support of the Merseyside club, while his unique coffin was painted red and emblazoned with the Anfield football team’s “You’ll Never Walk Alone” slogan.
