A manhunt has been launched following a serious assault in Manchester.
Barry Bowen, 35, from Blackpool, is wanted following an incident on June 18 at an address on Merseybank Avenue, Chorlton, Manchester.
He is also wanted for damage to a vehicle and possession of an offensive weapon in Lancashire.
Det Sgt Nicola Walton of South Manchester Division said: “Bowen has used violence in the past and given the ferocity used to seriously injure the victim, he is not to be approached by members of the public.
“Should anybody be found to be assisting or harbouring this wanted man, they too will face being arrested and a possible prison sentence of their own.”
Anyone with any information about the man’s whereabouts is asked to call police on 0161 856 4973 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
