Shoppers are being urged to warm up their voices for a sing-a-long-cinema session being held in Blackpool town centre on Saturday.
A giant screen is being put up in St John’s Square for the outdoor event from noon until 4pm.
People will be able to sing-a-long to their favourite songs from movies ranging from Mamma Mia to The Jungle Book and Blues Brothers, with seats arranged around the screen.
Eileen Ormand, Blackpool’s town centre and BID (Business Improvement District) manager, said: “With Mamma Mia the smash hit musical starting its run from June 20 to September 14 in the Opera House, Mamma Mia fever is gripping the town.
“Everyone loves to sing-a-long to their favourite songs from the musicals and this Saturday’s ‘Sing- a- Long Cinema’ event will give everyone the opportunity to do just that.
“So come along on Saturday and see if your favourite song will feature in the top 50 songs from the musicals.”
The event, which is free to join in, is being held in conjunction with Rock FM Radio, and there will also be dancers performing as part of the entertainment.
It is the latest in a number of events being organised by the BID for the square this summer.
Last month saw crowds entertained by the Make Your Move dance event, which included free dance lessons and demonstrations featuring former Britain’s Got Talent finalists Signature.
