Hundreds of BMX riders showed off they racing talents as Blackpool hosted the latest round of the North Region BMX Championships at Stanley Park yesterday.
Having competed at Crewe, Barnard Castle and Preston, bikers took to the track at Stanley Park in front of large crowds.
Blackpool BMX Club secretary Andy Hill said: “We have had something like 280 riders take part today.
“All of them are looking to qualify for the British Championships held at the end of the year at the Cycle Park in Gravesend, Kent.
“It was excellent. We had a really good turn-out and the weather was great.”
Blackpool BMX Club meets on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings at Stanley Park BMX track.
