A mother was assaulted in a Blackpool park when she was with her young children.
Police are now appealing for witnesses after the 26-year-old was approached by the man in Crossland Park, on Crossland Road, around 2pm on May 30.
The man damaged her phone and verbally abused her, before trying to punch her in the face, but caught her on the arm.
Police believe the alleged offender is known to the woman.
Det Con Kirsty Mills said: “If anybody witnessed this incident then I would ask them to contact police.
“It happened in the middle of the afternoon in a very public place so I am sure there would have been people around; please come forward if you think you can help.”
