Residents are to be given a helping hand to cut hundreds of pounds from their energy bills this week.
Staff from Blackpool’s Citizens Advice Bureau, on Whitegate Drive, are urging people to check they are on the best deal as part of Big Energy Saving Week.
The Government-backed scheme aims to help consumers check their bills, switch tariff or supplier and take up help to insulate their homes.
Advisers from Blackpool CAB, Trading Standards and Care and Repair will be at Wilkinsons, on Dickson Road, Blackpool, from 10am on Tuesday and Blackpool Central Library, on Queen Street, from 1pm on Thursday.
Debbie Lees, of Blackpool Citizens Advice Bureau, said: “We’re keen to make sure that no-one pays a penny more than they need to on energy costs.”
