Glittering awards dinner as popular as ever

More than 180 guests attended this year's Blackpool Civic trust annual awards and dinner.

The prestigious black-tie event took place in the Paradise Room, at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

Awards were given out to schools, community groups and local businesses who had all contributed to supporting Blackpool in 2015.

Joan Humble, chairman of Blackpool Civic Trust, said: “The evening was a very enjoyable way to celebrate individual achievement in Blackpool.”
